Holy crap! Meredith is dead. Well sorta. I don't know but things aren't looking good. Poor Claire Bear. Her mommy didn't even recognize her and at the end she fell out. I am glad to announce that per yesterday's episode (2/19/06) The Haitian finally has a name- Claude. Oh, and Peter is the man! So, as fine as Logan is, Veronica better find a way to forgive him real quick because he's not going to stay single for long as is evidence of today's show. By the way, Girlfriends was too funny! Holy crap General Hospital was so good last week and started off this week even better. Can it be that Guza (head writer at GH) pulled off the steal (pun intended) of sweeps. I mean the show has been on fire and I'm not talking about the explosion. Okay, my rant and rave recap is about Friday's episode, but Monday's opener was so hot that I have to post the clip and then Jason finds out that Liz is carrying his baby. I am so besides myself that it is pathetic, you have know idea. But I absolutely loved it! This is 9 minutes long but so worth it. Okay, so I have to mention Ugly Betty because I have to talk about how much I am loving Henry and Betty. Listen to the show.
Peter Pan and other stuff Good morning folks. I thought I would just stop in to say a little hello and quickly tell you what to expect from my next show. Of course I will be discussing the favorite television shows and GH. I am changing up the format a bit, trying to be more organized about things. LOL Right. I am adding a quick little news thingy. There are some stories out there that interest me enough to talk about them. Don't worry, it is not going to be anything heavy but it will be interesting. American Idol Now that I have talked about the ones I like, let's break down the ones I'm confused about. There are a whole group of them that I don't even know. Maybe as time goes on they will be picture worthy. For some of them though ... I have to wonder what the heck was up with the pick. What is Sundance Head doing in the final 24? His Daddy is pulling some strings for him up in the sky because he messed up his chance plenty of times. I loved when Simon said he looked like he was roasting on the stage (or something like that). I totally think there were others that could have been chosen over this dude. Hey, it is all good for the Asians in Pop, but Paul Kim already has me looking for the next dude. I am not fond of gimmicks, so now that "his thing" is going around without shoes, I've lost every bit of interest. They should not have shown Leslie Hunt performing if they wanted to convince us that she belongs in the final 24. In comparison, her voice was w
American Ido's Top 24 American Idol selected the top 24 contestants last night and although I wasn't overlly interested in the episode, I do want to do a quick run down. First, lets talk about the ones that I am rooting for. Now, they all can sing and have great voices but, to me, they have that something extra or a really good story behind them. The Girls: I think I like Gina because she was trying to make it again. Her personality is real cool and she has her own brand of style. Lakisha, Lakisha, Lakisah ... I love this girl because she can sang (yea, sang). I love that she is doing all this for her baby. It is sweet and touching and all that, but ... (I know you all saw that coming) can we get a make over real quick please. I am not a big fan of weave, especially bad weave but Ms. Jones could of got a chick down at the beauty shop to hook her up. The guys: Sanjaya: He is just so cute and sweet. That smile is as big as a mansion. I can't wait to see how he looks with a make over. Oh, he can sing too. :) I am not even going to lie about this kid. When Blake first came on doing his b-boxing thing, I rolled my eyes. The boy can sing though and has a little style about him that I'm feeling. I wish he would slow down on the beats because he is reminding me of Justin Timberlake. Now, Chris has a really great name- Chris Sligh. It's catchy but he doesn't look the part until he opens his mouth. The boy has personality and a smooth voice. He completely throws you off. Phi
General Hospital Today So, you've heard me talk about the GH hostage situation. Since I won't be doing a show on a daily basis, I thought I would highlight my ten favorite and not so favorite moments. 10. Sam recognizes Jason. I don't really have much to say about this. I guess it's a good thing. 9. Georgie sighting. So, I was excited to see her after a while because she is one of my favorites ... but wait ... 8. Georgie shrieking. I know she was worried about her sister and all but the whole screaming at Lucky thing annoyed me. I'm not trying to take away from Lucky's part in the whole situation but screaming on him as if Maxie was taken advantage off was totally off base. Prince's version of a Press Conference So, Prince was supposed to answer questions for the Super Bowl press conference down in Miami. Well this is Prince doing a press conference. He sure can play that guitar. If nothing else I will be watching the half-time show; although, I could do without Sally and Sue prancing around on the stage but it is Prince after all.
Saw III better than I thought! Okay, so I was a little hesitant to watch Saw 3 because I was so disappointed by Saw 2 ; however, I was pleasantly (or should I say gruesomely) surprised. I am going to do a radio show on it, so come back to check that out. I will say that Saw 3 is pretty darn good. There is so much more I would love to say but will say it for the show. General Hospital Sweeps has started. Okay, so my favorite soap of all time is General Hospital. If you don't know it, now you know. This week they are doing a soap version of 24. I was a little skeptical at first but today was surely worth the anticipation. The opening sequence right down to the brutal hostage take over. This month is definitely the month to watch. This is a video montage of the opening scene. Every day starts like this, minus the music and slow motion :).
Nas' Hip Hop Is Dead is so on point! Okay, so I haven't been updating this as much as I would like. Life is what it is. My television watching is at an all time high now that all my shows are back. I will be including some new segements to my radio show that I'm pretty excited about. Look for that to come up in the next few weeks. Later, we will talk about my shows this week and some entertainment news tid bits. In the mean time, I am so feeling Nas' Hip Hop Is Dead joint. I really was not overlly excited about his last single but this one is so on point. I think it reflects a lot of what some people are feeling as far as Hip Hop goes.
