Things seem to get so hard that it makes you want to throw your hands up in the air and just say forget it? Sometimes, I wonder why am I going back to school or why do I keep writing or why do I strive to even be a better Christian. It would be so much easier to just be lazy and give into my worldly whims and desires. It would be easier to do nothing at all ... or so it seems. When I get in these little phases, I force myself to think of the alternatives. What would happen if I actually did nothing? How would my life look? The same? Worse? What would have happened if Jesus did nothing when God sent him to save us? What about if Jesus never picked up the cross for our sakes, but instead, remained on the ground until they beat him to death. What about Joseph? What if he did nothing when his brothers, literally, dumped him for dead? It seems to me that no matter how
