So, I started this new daily devotional and I will attempt to post my thoughts on a daily basis. It just so happens that this devotional is dealing with one of my toughest areas. I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do no doubt ... you can say to this mountain "Go and throw yourself into the sea," and it will be done. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer. -Mathew 21:21-22 NIV Here is the thing. I have faith. I believe in the power of God, no doubt. I just have a hard time letting go. I have a hard time allowing God to do His work. I am a jump in a fix it type of person. My instincts are to jump in and fix it. I do not know how to be still and wait for God. This is something that I pray about on a regular basis because there are so many areas in my life that need His healing touch. So, what do I do? I test myself even in the smallest things. I remind myself everyday to leave it to God. If I say that I am always successful , I would be lying.

Why Christian Gradient? I have no idea LOL. If it is a question of the name ... well, it is because I believe that we, in the flesh, tend to see ourselves that way like we are on some type of level of measurement. I know when I think about all my faults that I find I am sorely lacking. I have to keep reminding myself that God does not see me like that. He loves me for loving him enough to want to be with him by accepting Jesus into my life. Sometimes, I cannot understand that. Now, why now? I feel that God has wanted me to do something for a long time and I have been purposely ignoring him. However, there is a point when you just can't keep ignoring God. He makes sure of it. I am at that point. It took a lot of hurt, anger, pain, and time to realize that, but it is crystal clear to me. This is just one of the ways that I am trying to stay true to his calling. Let me be honest, I have no idea what that means. He has just pointed me in a direction and this time, I am choosing not to

I have never done this. I started Parlez Entertainment in June 2003 for fun because I am sort of an entertainment junky . Since then it has morphed into many different forms. A defunct -one-issue magazine, a website, a blog, and a radio show (over 40,000 downloads now). It has been forever changing but always there. Well, Parlez Entertainment will still be here. I may come in and do a radio show now and then or post a quick thought, but that would be about it. There are other areas in my life that need focus. I realize that I am being called into another direction that I have been avoiding for years and I can no longer avoid it. I have no idea where this path is going to lead me but I am going to follow it because I no longer have a choice. Along with that, I have to prioritize certain things in my life, and as much I love Parlez Entertainment and everything in entertainment, they will have to take a back seat for a little while. Lord, help me! I don't even know if I can do it.

There are quite a few have-to-have DVDs out right now. Some of them, we have even recommended and some of them not. I do not get to the movies nearly as much as I would like to, so I watch a lot of DVDs. Still, I wish I could squeeze more time out to just vegetate and watch television. Of course, that is not realistic with two kids but a girl can fantasize.

This movie was absolutely exhilarating. I have to say that I have enjoyed all three Bourne movies. Of course the Bourne Identity was the best one. I was a little disappointed by the second one but Bourne Ultimatum brought it home. If you have not checked it out, go ahead. It is worth it.

Since I am a fan of teeniebopper movies, I had to watch this. It was not as good as the first one. It was more contrived. I am sure that a 13-year old would not notice, so it was still a decent watch.

So, I cannot say that I have watched this; however, all the others that I have watched have been really good. I am sure fans of Potter will no doubt be interested.

Being that I have children, I would watch these type of things. This Christmas movie is perfect for young boys and girls.

Tasha Smith definitely made a lasting impression in Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married? With such an unassuming name like Tasha Smith, who would think that this chick is a breakout star. Like anyone else that seems to have "all of a sudden" broken out, Tasha Smith (36) has been in the business for quite some time now. She has had minor roles in a number of blockbuster movies and appearances on television show after television show after television show. Her filmography dates back to 1994. Her portrayal of a dead beat mother in Daddy's Little Girl was so on point that I really hated her character. A little trivia about her is that there's two of her. Okay, that sounds more dramatic than it really is. She has an identical twin sister. Was I the only one a little disappointed with the finale? It just didn't do it for me. The only thing that I really liked was Hiro locking Adam away in that coffin and Vanessa Bell playing the psychotic, electrifying daughter. Peter was such a dolt. Although he was great eye candy, I did not enjoy watching stay in the dark for so long. Syler is back and I am not even thrilled about that. He was a person that should have stayed dead. Tonight is the big night where everything is supposed to go down with the virus, Adam, Hero, and Peter. Could I be the only one wondering if this is really true?
