The Beyoncé Bowl: A Celebration of Power, Performance, and Unstoppable Inspiration Subscribe, like, share. Available on all streaming platforms . Listen now:  After watching The Beyoncé Bowl I was inspired to record a podcast show. The main topics are below but I left out a shout-out to the Texas Southern University Ocean of Soul band and dancers. I also discussed how I did not spend much time reading the hate comments, but then I hopped on FaceBook, and the posts of her performance on mainstream pages like People, ESPN, NFL, etc. were disgustingly filled with hateful, dog-whistled, racially motivated comments. It is always disappointing to see but a reminder that this is Amerika. The ugly underbelly of racism is always ready to show itself. Regardless, please listen to the show. The second part is about how important it is to create a space for inspiration to thrive.  Christmas Day football game and Beyoncé Bowel performance inspired me Netflix to release a stand-alone specia...

Losing You: The Art of Letting Go and Finding Yourself Again Be forewarned. I sing on this podcast and it is bad but the song is so good.  Tell me the truth boy am I losing you for good? We used to kiss all night but now there’s just no use. I don’t know how I fight it, clearly we are through. Tell me the truth, boy, am I losing you for good? The entire album is a moody vibe and Losing You is a great way to kick it off.  Have you been in a relationship you know is over or feel is about to be? This song really captures the essence of being in that ambiguous space because maybe you still want to fight for the relationship but you only end up fighting alone. You end up wondering if...

Beat Procrastination: Unlock More Time and Say Goodbye to Stress Listen to the show Does anyone else have problems with procrastination especially as we get older? I hope I am not the only one raising my hand.  Procrastination is that evil little sucker that can creep in and easily become a bad habit. Once it latches on, it erodes your ability to function effectively. First, we have to recognize that it has become a bad habit, and then we have to figure out how to break it, which is not easy. However, it can be overcome with some honest self-assessment and an organized and attainable plan of attack.  I am my worst critic about all the things I do not get done.
