Meet Me Next Christmas  It is that time for holiday movies and I am here for it. Netflix has so many that I do not even know where to begin but my first watch was Meet Me Next Christmas and I enjoyed it more than I expected. Meet Me Next Christmas stars Christina Milian, Devale Ellis, Kofi Siriboe, Kalen Allen, and The Pentatonix. First of all, you had me at Pentatonix because I love them.  Now Christina Milian is the queen of these little romcom movies and I always try to catch her because she’s cute, adorable, and seems like a really nice person. I watched her in Resort to Love which was super cute and enjoyable. I also watched Falling In Love. These were my two recent watches.   Alien: Romulus Listen Now Listen! Listen, listen, listen to me! Go see this movie. I realize I am late on seeing Alien: Romulus as it came out in theaters two weeks ago, but I have arrived. I was on the edge of my seat for most of this film. They went with a younger crew this time, portraying a group of green young adults who were just in search of a better life. There was an affinity towards them succeeding built in early on. Considering, I had recently rewatched the first Alien movie, this one felt almost full circle to me. This of course was the intention considering it is somewhat of a sequel to Alien and a prequel to Aliens, taking place 20 years after the events of Alien.  Alien: Romulus follows Rain, played by Cailee Spaeny, and her “brother,” Andy played by David Jonsson, as they decide to help scavenge a ship so they can realize their ultimate dream of going to another planet where they can see the sun. There I was watching The Devil Wears Prade for the millionth time when it dawned on me that at the end of the movie, Andrea Sachs is at the beginning of her journey. The Devil Wears Prada is streaming on Prime and has memorable iconic Meryl Streep as Miranda Priestly moments. Sometimes I watch and skip to my favorite parts which always include Miranda being Miranda. This movie came out in 2006 and is a classic for me, mainly due to Maryl Streep's portrayal.
