I am a romantic, maybe too much so. I love romance in books, movies, television and espcially soaps. General Hospital Patrick and Robin are just too cute for words. I like the simplicity of their latest disaggreement: The Couch Saga. I love their latest scenes together, and I am not usually a fan of the voice over but I think they do a great job.

Now, I have taken my Thursdays back. I put the kids to bed at around eight while I' m watching Ugly Betty. I really don't like to be disturbed during Grey's Anatomy, so my son has to be asleep. My daughter stays up until about ten but I can handle watching television with her. After I'm done watching, I try to do my shows real quick while everything is fresh but it was late last night, so I waited till this morning. My son decides to get up with me. It wasn't too bad besides him driving me up the wall but that is nothing new. Be sure to go to my podcast page to see all the segements. View all segments. Betty: The ugly is back. This was a really good episode. I actually felt bad for Danial after he got played. Now you know he is going to be the biggest player ever. Whoever comes next will have big problems. ANNOUNCEMENT I know I need some new music for my radio show. To be honest, I just don't have the time to put together something new, and I still like all of the songs playing. ABC's Day Break with Taye Diggs Yesterday I had the opportunity to watch ABC’s new drama, Day Break starring Taye Diggs. To be honest, it was my sincerest intention to skip this new television show. I watch too much television as it is, and I don’t need to get sucked into another show. Regardless of that, I watched the entire two-hour premier. The reason I wasn’t going to watch, the aforementioned notwithstanding, is that I thought Taye ‘s deliveries were a bit robotic from the previews and they were. Robocop aside, the program was captivating. At first I was anticipating some boring moments particularly when he started the day over but dull moments never came. There were enough questions and intrigue to keep me watching. I liked that not even the people I would expect to know what’s going on didn’t understand why or how Taye’s character, Brett (what kind of Black name is that?), anticipated certain things after he started a day over. General Hospital's Luke and Laura Wedding Redux Top Ten Moments With such a monumental occasion I had to do a top ten moments of the magical Luke and Laura wedding redux. This was classic GH at its best. 10. The vets. Robert, Bobby, Tracy, Allen, Monica, Luke, Laura and Sonny all in one day all, in one place, all looking stunning. 9. Lucky sober and fine and Nicholas just fine. 8. Maxie- I just love to hate her. Her back drop presence definitely made the wedding redux even more soapy. The looks between Lucky and Liz were touching. Maxie’s presence and her catching the bouquet added that extra edge to the event. 7. Location, location, location. My my the scenery at the Q’s back yard was amazing. Lila must have sent some climate conditions from heaven to create such a beautiful location with palm trees, waterfalls, and all the tropical fixings. 6. Millennium Chain Letters There are quite a few things I hate in this world. I am a realist, and that is being generous, and because of that, on any given day, there exist a large number of things that just get on my last good nerve, things that just do not make any type of sense whatsoever. Things like “Chicken Noodle Soup” with a soda on the side or Janet Jackson getting dissed by MTV or performers dancing so much that they don’t even sing anymore or street lit getting published just because it’s street lit just, all annoy me to no end. However, all of the aforementioned pale in comparison to one of my pet peeves, chain letters. My first initiation into this rite of passage was many years ago at the tender age of 13, when I was susceptible to just about anything. I was just happy that I was getting mail. Wanda’s General Hospital Top Ten for 10/9/06 I love General Hospital. If you don't know, now you know. Sometimes I get a little obsessed. It is that love for drama that I wrote about. 10. The way Carly’s legion of protectors (Milo, Max, Morgan and, the ring leader, Michael) attempted to ruin her dinner with Jax. First Carly was trying to get back at Sonny for making the repairs on her house take so long, then her the “protectors” try to ruin her efforts by making sure that she and Jax do not have a quiet dinner at Sonny’s how. Milo and Max are the funniest. 9. Maxie is delusional. This is only good because it spells doom for Lucky and Liz. Honestly, Liz breaking free from the shackles of Lucky is long over due. Maxie is darn right crazy and she won’t stop until she either had Lucky or he is so ruined that even a dog won’t want to piss on him.
