Be Strong and Courageous!

Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged for the Lord your God will be with you where ever you go. – Joshua 1:9 Are you sometimes doubtful about the future or saddened by the way your life is going? It is okay to feel that way sometimes. Some of the greatest biblical leaders had doubts even after they had been face to face with the miracles of God. Life is not always going to be at its best. We are not yet in heaven, so there will be hard times. This is not our final home. We are passing through this world and trying to make the best out of what are given. What separates us from the rest of the world is our love for God. What should drive us is not the need to live a better life for ourselves but to live a better life for God. Day in and day out we should be working and living for Him. We should be a shinning light for the rest of the world that shows how glorious we are no matter what we are going through. We still laugh and love because God is with us. Wha

Single & Satisfied Part Three

Now that we know that all singles have a common duty but don’t have all things in common, and that accepting yourself leads to single satisfaction let’s conclude the ways I have found to make my success in being single and satisfied. Treat yourself. Look there is no reason for any single person to be cooped up in the house all the time. Get out! Enjoy yourself. How else will you be able to meet people and fellowship? A friend of mine used to joke that the only way she was probably going to get married was if the pizza man asked her, because for so long that was the only person that she saw outside of work. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son … John 3:16 . Take yourself on a date. Get a pedicure, manicure, a haircut or stitch some weave in. Whatever makes you feel good, do it! Don’t wait for anyone to vali

So, where have you been hiding?

Okay, I guess that is not really a fair question since you have probably been where you're at all along. In truth, I have been the one missing in action. I sort of dropped off the cyber radar for a little bit. Don’t get me wrong. I still got on here to at least take a look at my favorite groups and message boards, glance at my e-mails, and research some information; but that’s about all. I haven’t posted anything. I haven’t e-mailed anyone. I haven’t even logged into MySpace (I don't do that regularly so I guess it does not really count). So where have I been? Well, I am proud to say that although I have not been reading as much as I would like to, I have still been reading the Bible. I have about 16 post that I need to get caught up on. For the most part though, I have been getting myself adjusted to being back in school. Believe me; I have needed prayer for that. It is a struggle for me because I have not done the school thing in about nine years. The other thing I have been
