Stress Less Tip 12: Value Yourself

I am learning to stop trying with people who do not value me the same way I may value them. It is a hard lesson but the blessing is that you also pay closer attention to the ones who are true to you.

Value yourself, value your presence, value your time so that you may not rely on others to do so for you. Move on from those who repeatedly take you for granted. Let them go. Instead, hold on tight to those who share with you, care for you listen to you and come through for you. Let us not take for granted those who remember you and keep you. Know who your true friends are.

We seek to love and be loved even if we may not admit it to ourselves at times. Love yourself enough to create a nurturing space around you that will foster not only your growth but also your ongoing self-healing.
