Beyonce News: Is she a ho?

How many more ways can Beyonce and her clan make more money? Hmmm, let me see ... as many as they can think of I guess. Her father, Mathew Knowels, and sister, Solange, have partnered to bring out a line of hip hop pre-school toys.

At first that doesn't sound right but then I think about the Bratz toy line and think why the heck not. They plan is to hip hop up some popular nursery rhymes. I'm cool with that as long as it doesn't mean dumbing anything down. IMO, hip hop and unintelligence is not synonymous as some people think.

In other Beyonce happenings, Roboho is apparently not a good way to describe Beyonce. Okay, I'm not calling the chick a ho but Al Sharpton is taking time to write letters because TMZ.com allegedly called Beyonce a ho. Well, they wrote him back and made it clear that they called her outfit Roboho and did not call Beyonce a ho.

Hmmm, it is really a play on words and you can check out Eurweb for the full story. I think Al should be holding everyone accountable for using the word. If he is, then it's all good. Not that I am calling Beyonce a ho but wasn't this the same chick who let Jay-Z (her boyfreind) slap that ass on national televion last year after her said, "I used to bag girls like Birkin BagsNow I bag B" (as tap) and she responded, "Boy you hurtin' that."
I'm just saying Al should double check things before he says things like, "It is intolerable to think that TMZ.com would find humor in calling Beyonce -- someone who symbolizes the strength, dignity and uplifting of Black women -- a ‘Roboho,’ and they should be denounced by the entire community for glorifying the continued oppression of women with this derogatory term." The heifer was running around half nekkid, letting people tap her booty on stage, Al. That alone is not so symbolic of dignity ... I'm just saying.

Anyway, check out the performance. I love it and especially love Kelly. Her album is in stores right now. Oh, notice the women in cages. That is another dignified moment, yes?
