Gru is back but this time he is working for the good guys and finding love.

I'm glad I have children because without them I'm pretty sure I would have never taken the time to see this lovely animated film. Personally, I enjoyed the second installment of Despicable Me as much as the first. In truth, I think I enjoyed the experience of watching the movie in a theater full of kids more than anything. They are just so darn joyful and laugh out loud at the silliest things. Needless to say, the kids loved the movie. It was fun, light and entertaining. However, the minions took center stage (I know, another theater reference). The movie would not have been half as good without them, which I am guessing was quite intentionally since the word is that they (minions) are supposed to get their own movie.

All in all an enjoyable time for the family. As is evident by the fact that Despicable Me 2 is still killing it at the box office- number one two weeks in a row.

Nice review. I didn’t hate it; I was just bored at times. Not to death though, thankfully.
